About Amanda

Founder & owner of Brows Etc Amanda has over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry. Her career in beauty began back when she left school to study Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy at college.

After a break she returned to the industry she loves and set up her own business specialising in nails and was one of the first in the area to offer this now commonplace service. She went on to train with the original HD Brows team at the beginning of the ‘brow boom’ and trained as an HD Brows Master Stylist with the HD Brows founder Nilam Holmes-Patel. Her curiosity and thirst for knowledge and advanced training took her on to further specialise in advanced skincare, and area she is passionate about and she has spent many years increasing her knowledge and most importantly her experience in this field. 

As a qualified trainer, holding an Award in Education & Training, Amanda works as both an independent trainer, and also an accredited trainer for 4T Medical. Amanda also delivers advanced aesthetic skincare training on behalf of 4T medical as part of their Clinical Training team.

Amanda has a passion for skincare and has trained to an advanced level in many aesthetic skincare procedures. Her specialist field is in helping people to overcome problematic skin conditions such as acne and scarring. She is particularly passionate about helping women to adapt to skin changes and tackle the issues that can arise as a result of menopause.

Amanda has seen many skincare trends come and go and thoroughly researches trends before committing to introducing a treatment to her menu. Continued education along with remaining firm about only providing tried and tested methods have ensured she gets positive results from the treatments she chooses to offer from her clinic. She has an excellent knowledge of medical grade skincare and is able to prescribe bespoke homecare plans to complement your in clinic treatments and help to enhance the results.
