Lash Extensions
We offer two lash extension treatments – Natural Look Lashes and Russian Volume Lash extensions
Lash extensions are applied individually – one extension to one lash. (except for Volume where this number increased from 2-8 applied to 1 lash).
Your natural lashes are individual to you so before your treatment begins we will assess your lash type & discuss with you the look you hope to achieve.
At Brows Etc it is all about the ‘Bespoke’ lash approach.
To preserve the health of your natural lashes we NEVER use the ‘one size fits all’ method that is adopted by too many lash technicians who rush this delicate procedure.
You will have created for you a bespoke finish that will really bring out the best in your appearance. Our lash extensions are ultra light. In fact, many clients say they can’t feel them at all when they’re wearing them.
Lash treatments are a relaxing experience in themselves, we offer free naps with each treatment!
Natural Look Individual Lashes – perfect for your everyday life.
These ultra-natural looking lashes will give you a guaranteed WOW factor. Your Natural Look Lashes will be applied individually (one extension to one lash) for striking and de-fined results.
You’ll find them unnoticeable and ultra-light to wear.
To get the best results, we recommend you come and see us every two to three weeks for maintenance. We can then add any extra lashes you might need.
We recommend that you have your lash extensions removed and a complete new set. Al-low one and a half hours for application
Russian Volume Lashes –perfect for a full or dramatic look
Compared to classic lash extensions, where we can only SAFELY attach one eyelash ex-tension to each natural lash, Russian Volume Lashes (also known as 2D – 8D lashes) breaks through that limitation by having anywhere from 2 to 8 super fine extensions ap-plied to a single natural eyelash.
The lash extensions used are completely different to those used in the classic one on one method, each volume lash is super LIGHT and super FINE so 5 volume lashes may only weigh as much as one classic lash extension!
Now that’s light! Allow a minimum of two and a half hours for application.
Lash Lift
Lash Lift is the natural alternative to lash extensions. At Brows Etc we use the fabulous Elleebana brand which we have found to have consistently wonderful results.
Taking just 45 minutes and requiring NO maintenance Lash Lift is the perfect choice for those pushed for time but wanting to make the most of their own lashes.
Throw your lash curlers away! Lash lift gives you the effect of having used lash curlers but without the effort on your part…and no drooping half way through the day!
We also tint your top & bottom lashes as part of this treatment which gives the effect that they are both longer and fuller.
24 hours after this treatment you can resume wearing your mascara….you wont believe they are your own natural lashes!
Lash Tint
Whether going on holiday or going to the gym a lash tint is essential to stop your lashes disappearing when you can’t wear mascara!
We carry a comprehensive range of lash tints, have a beautiful violet, blue or green hue added to your regular black.
This is just a 15 minute treatment and an ideal add on to your regular brow appointment.
Party Lash Application
Would you like fabulous lashes for just one day or evening out? Do you struggle to put strip lashes on yourself?
We will apply them for you!
You will have the choice between Strip Lashes or Cluster Lashes depending on the look you would like to achieve.
We stock different styles and will apply them with a professional quality lash glue. They are easily removable and with oily eye makeup removal.
Lash Tips
If you’ve ever had eyelash extensions that feel like they’re pulling at your skin, sore spots along your lid line or like you have match sticks attached to your lashes it’s more than likely because the stylist has attached extensions to your skin instead of to your natural lashes.
Not good.
Or equally as bad, they have glued multiple extensions to multiple natural lashes which can result in severely damaged lashes. This is because each of our natural lashes grows at a different rate so when there is an extension that is attached to several lashes they can lit-erally rip your natural lashes out as they grow!
OUCH!
This is why Eyelash Extensions should only ever be applied by an experienced profes-sional. Continued poor lash extension application can cause irreparable damage to your natural lashes and they may not grow back.
Your eye health is far too important to take unnecessary risks so research your Lash Artist carefully before deciding who to make an appointment with.
NEVER attempt to remove your own lash extensions, this will undoubtedly result in you loosing natural lashes.
Only a trained lash technician should attempt removal of extensions.
