Salon Policies

At Brows Etc our commitment is to provide you with a high quality, friendly service. To ensure smooth and efficient bookings, whilst providing all of our clients with the same fair service, we ask that you kindly take the time to read our polices, and familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions of making your appointments with us.

Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy, our booking system is set up to send you an email on booking an appointment with us. Please check your email booking details are correct as this will be the time and date we will have in our diary. A text (SMS) reminder of your appointment will be sent to you 48 hours prior to your appointment. If our reminders are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and potential charges. Please remember to advise us of changes in either email address or mobile number.

Arrival

If you are running late, please call ahead, we will always do our best to accommodate you. We do have to consider the impact on our other clients so occasionally it may be necessary to reschedule, or adjust your treatment to fit into the time we have left available.

There may be times that we also run late to, If we expect this to be more than 15 minutes we will try to let you know beforehand. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Re-Booking & Busy Periods

To avoid disappointment we advise that you re-book your next appointment before leaving the salon. For those of you that are restricted to evening and weekend appointment, we recommend you book several appointments in advance to ensure you get the stylist & time you prefer.

Rescheduling, Cancellations & Missed Appointments

When making an appointment, we will do our best to book this at a date and time that best suits you. We appreciate that sometimes you may need to change an appointment, and we will be happy to reschedule at the next available suitable time. If an emergency or delay arises on the day of your appointment, and we are able to accommodate your appointment later that same day, no fees will apply.

A 48 hour notice period is required for all changes/cancellations, or a charge of 50% may be applied at your next appointment.

Forgotten/Missed appointments will incur a charge of up to 100% of the service booked. This will need to be paid in full, & in advance of any future bookings.

Under 16’s treatments & appointments

  • We do not offer any treatments to children under the age of 13.
  • Children between the ages of 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Services are restricted for those aged between 13-16. Tint cannot be used on children of this age group. We also cannot offer lash lift or lash extensions. This policy is in place to ensure we meet our insurance company criteria.

Children at the Salon

We hope you understand that due to the nature and set up of our salon, we cannot assure the safety of young children and ask that they are not bought along to your appointments UNLESS they will happily remain in the waiting area unsupervised. Children are under no circumstances allowed to sit on your knee during your treatment.

With client comfort and experience being very important to us, we kindly remind you that some clients may also be visiting our salon for some much needed “down time” away from their own children. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Mobile Phones

We would like your experience to be as relaxing as possible, and we kindly ask that all mobile phones, tablets, smart watches and all other devices are switched to silent.

Smoking Policy

We operate a strict NO smoking policy throughout our premises , this includes the use of an electronic smoking device.

Jewellery & Personal Items

We cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles, including clothing, jewellery, phones, and accessories.

Methods of Payment

We reserve the right to change prices and services at any time without notification. We accept payment by cash and all major credit/debit cards. Deposits can be made by bank transfer.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, nor will cash be given in exchange for unused balances. They may only be used with the stylist specified. Please make a note of the expiry dates as expired vouchers will not be accepted.

Consultations and Deposits

Consultations are advised and encouraged, depending on the services required. All consultations are complimentary, however we may require a deposit to secure an appointment.
